Boycott Pillsbury Campaign

Developed for the Boycott Pillsbury campaign, commissioned by the American Friends Service Committee, this piece depicts the Pillsbury Doughboy in an Israeli military surveillance tower, with the apartheid wall in the background. The apartheid wall separates indigenous Palestinian communities from each other and their land throughout the West Bank. This campaign was developed due to Pillsbury’s illegal presence in the occupied West Bank, manufacturing frozen baked goods in an illegal Israeli settlement, in violation of international law. In June 2022, General Mills announced that it had divested from its Israeli businesses and ended the production of Pillsbury products on the illegal settlement.
